The imagery of Susan Brabeau appeals to the viewer on several levels: bringing forth moods and sentiments of a by gone era, creating an illusion of life so completely that the viewer can almost hear the sounds within an image.

Susan Brabeau, artist, resides in Wendell, North Carolina. In her Gallery in Raleigh, N.C., she offers original oil paintings, giclee prints and jigsaw puzzles featuring her images.  She is well known for her detailed nostalgic settings and whimsical Americana Art. Many of her images include family and friends decked out in hats and clothing that Susan designs herself. Susan has recently extended her work to include vintage gardens, vegetables and flowers with her same flair for the humorous.
